Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of the CreativeNook HR platform. By using the system, you agree to these terms.

Effective: April 16, 2026

Please read carefully. By accessing and using this system, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the CreativeNook HR HR Management and Payroll System (the "System"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the System on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the System.

System Access and Use

Access to the System is granted on a per-user basis by your organization's administrator. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Account Security
  • Keep your credentials strictly confidential
  • Immediately report unauthorized access to your administrator
  • Use only one account per authorized user
  • Log out when using shared or public devices
Prohibited Activity
  • Sharing credentials with other individuals
  • Accessing data outside your authorized scope
  • Attempting to circumvent security controls
  • Using the System for unauthorized purposes

Data Accuracy and Responsibility

The integrity of HR and payroll data is critical. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information you enter or modify within the System.

System Availability

We strive to provide reliable, uninterrupted access to the System, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently modify, suspend, or discontinue access for the following reasons:

  • Scheduled maintenance and system upgrades
  • Emergency security patches or vulnerability remediation
  • Third-party infrastructure failures outside our control
  • Feature modifications, additions, or removals
  • Updates to authentication methods, including Google OAuth
Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. We aim to minimize disruption during business hours.

Intellectual Property

The System, including all software, interfaces, content, and underlying technology, is the exclusive property of CreativeNook HR and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the System does not grant you any ownership rights.

You may not, without explicit written authorization:

  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the System
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the System
  • Use the System or its features for competitive intelligence
  • Sublicense or transfer your access rights to others

Legal Compliance

Use of the System must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, Data Privacy Act)
  • Employment and labor laws applicable in your jurisdiction
  • Anti-fraud and financial regulations related to payroll
  • Your organization's internal policies and codes of conduct
  • Google's Terms of Service when using Google authentication

Termination of Access

Access to the System may be suspended or permanently revoked at any time, with or without prior notice, in any of the following circumstances:

  • Violation of any provision of these Terms of Service
  • Unauthorized use, misuse, or abuse of the System
  • Suspected or confirmed security breach involving your account
  • End of employment or contractual relationship with your organization
  • Request by your organization's administrator

Upon termination, your right to access the System ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CreativeNook HR and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the System. Specifically, we are not liable for:

  • System downtime, interruptions, or performance degradation
  • Loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your data
  • Errors or inaccuracies in data entered by users
  • Third-party service failures, including Google authentication outages
  • Indirect consequences of actions taken based on System data
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users directly.

Your continued use of the System after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the revised terms, you must stop using the System and contact your administrator to deactivate your account.

Authentication Methods

The System supports both standard email/password login and Google OAuth 2.0 authentication. By using Google authentication, you additionally agree to the following:

  • You will comply with Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  • You authorize us to access the minimum required Google account data (email, name, profile picture)
  • We do not store your Google password — authentication is handled entirely by Google
  • You may revoke our access at any time via your Google Account security settings
  • Service availability may depend on Google OAuth infrastructure
Google Account Required: To use Google sign-in, you must already have an account in the System linked to your Google email. Contact your administrator if you need assistance.
